ASSEMBLY
Position Starter Rope and Cable
1.
Hold the blade control handle against the upper handle (Figure 5).
2.
Slowly pull starter rope handle from engine and slip starter rope into the rope
guide (Figure 6).
3.
Use the cable clamp to secure the control cable to the handle (Figure 6).
IMPORTANT:
To reduce wear and allow for proper operation, make sure to leave
some slack in the upper portion of the cable.
Attaching/Removing Grass Catcher
To attach the grass catcher:
a. Lift rear discharge door.
b. Place grass catcher into the slots in the handle brackets (Figure 7).
c. Let go of discharge door so that it rests on the grass catcher.
To remove grass catcher
：
a. Lift rear discharge door on the mower.
b. Lift grass catcher up and off the slots in the handle brackets.
c. Release rear discharge door to allow it to close rear opening of mower.
NOTE:
Make sure to clean any excess grass from around the rear opening of the
mower, especially between the transmission cover and sidewall on the left
hand side and along the bottom, to ensure tight fit of bag onto mower.
