Mode GSM (7 bit) works with German, English and all Scandinavian languages and can handle up to 160
characters in an SMS.
Unicode (16 bit) mode can work with a full character set that includes Greek, Russian and French, and
therefore does not allow large content in an SMS. For this reason the module will adapt return message
lengths so they are suited to the selected language.
