SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
The following precautions must be strictly observed for the safety of yourself and your fellow
workers and for the protection of property from loss and damages.
DANGER
Never attempt any of installation work, electrical engineering, and any of the jobs
instructed to the engineering outfit ("For the Engineering Outfit"). All of these jobs
must always be commissioned to your engineering outfit because they involve
electric shock hazards, fire hazards and falling hazards.
WARNING
If the Product is giving out smoke or burnt smell, or showing other abnormal
symptoms, remove the battery inside the clock controller immediately. Then,
check that no smoke is emitted from the Product, and call your nearby SEIKO
dealer or agent for repair service.
Never disassemble, repair or tamper with the Product. An electric shock hazard,
malfunction or fire may result.
Do not operate the Product with wet hands. An electric shock hazard or
malfunction may result.
Do not use or store the Product in the following places. An electric shock hazard,
malfunction or fire may result.
・Places beyond the operational or storage temperature range;
・Highly humid places such as in the bathroom and near water;
・Highly dusty places;
・Places where the Product may be exposed to strong vibration; and
・Places where the Product may be affected by static electricity.
Do not attempt to replace the battery or fuse by yourself. An electric shock hazard,
malfunction or fire may result. For replacement work, contact the SEIKO dealer or
agent.
Do not attempt by yourself to perform any maintenance work including checking,
repair and cleaning. An accident causing personal injury or death may result. For
the maintenance work, contact the SEIKO dealer or agent once a year or so.
