new or refurbished replacement parts; or (2) exchange the product with a
product that is either or has been manufactured from serviceable used parts
and functions as well as a new product; or (3) refund the purchase price of
the product.
When a product or part is exchanged, any replacement product becomes
your property and the broken hardware will be VenTrade’s. Parts provided
by VenTrade in fulfilment of its warranty obligation must be used in products
for which the warranty service is claimed. When a refund is given, the prod-
uct for which the refund is given must be returned to VenTrade.
17.1 Exclusions and limitations
This limited warranty only applies to hardware products manufactured for or
by VenTrade under the ‘SECACAM’ or ‘VenTrade’ trademark, trade name,
or affiliated logo. The limited warranty does not apply to any non-VenTrade
hardware or software products, even if they are falsely sold using VenTrade
packaging. Manufacturers, suppliers and producers may choose to provide
warranties to the end-user for their products. VenTrade, insofar as is permit-
ted by law, provides their products ‘as is’.
VenTrade does not guarantee that its products’ operations will be uninter-
rupted or error-free. VenTrade is not responsible for damages that are a
result of negligence to read the instruction manual relating to the product’s
use.
This warranty does not apply to the following:
• To damage caused by use with non-VenTrade products
• To damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, flood, fire, earthquake
or other external causes
• To damage caused by operating the product outside the permitted or
intended uses described by VenTrade
• To damage caused by the servicing (including upgrades and repairs)
of the hardware by people not authorized by VenTrade or an unauthorized
service provider.
• To a product or part that has been modified to significantly alter func-
tionality or capability without the written permission of VenTrade.
