Changing the battery and resetting the battery counter 

To change the battery, simply remove the old battery from its holder and insert the new 
battery. 

It  is  important  that  the  characteristics  of  the  new  battery  meet  the  requirements  of  the 
device. Otherwise, it may cause interference during operation.  

When  you  have  changed  battery,  then  you  will  need  to  reset  the  internal  “battery 
counter” of the GT-3-1 to zero.  

The following prerequisites must be met: 

•

 

A wireless interface must be connected to the computer (e.g. LOG RI). 

•

 

The GT-3-1 must have been added in the SebaDataView-3 software. 

•

 

The GT-3-1 must be switched on and be within wireless range of the computer.  

 

Proceed as follows to reset the battery counter:

Switch the GT-3-1 on.

Mark the GT-3-1 in the directory tree of the SebaDataView-3 software.

Click on 

Program

 in the menu bar. 

4 

Click on 

Read settings

 at the bottom of the window.  

Result:

 The current configuration is read out and displayed by the device.

Click on 

Status

 at the bottom of the window.  

Result:

 A new window opens.

Click on
