After the first 200 hours or 12 months thereafter (whichever
comes first).
1.
All points noted above.
2.
Remove support rod from engine steering/tilt tube. Clean engine
steering/tilt tube and re-grease using a good quality marine
grease.
3.
Grease support rod liberally.
4.
Grease all contact points shown in the figure below. DO NOT
remover the tiller bolt to re-grease.
5.
Remove the steering wheel(s) and re-grease the wheel shaft(s)
using a good quality marine grease.
6.
Inspect hydraulic oil for cleanliness; flush if required.
7.
Check that the service valve is free to move and in the closed
position.
ANY WORK BEING PERFORMED WITH THE STEERING SYSTEM
MUST BE COMPLETED BY A QUALIFIED MECHANIC WITH A
WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF THE SYSTEM.
