FRESH WATER TANK and FILLING
The freshwater tank is filled through deck filler
marked 'WATER' and is located on the port side.
Ensure when filling that you select the correct filler
and NOT THE FUEL TANK by mistake. You cannot
overfill the tanks as the vent in the hull side acts as
an overflow.
Check before filling that the correct water supply has
been selected as many marinas/ports provide more
than one water supply.
Ensure the seal ring on the filler is free from grit and
is undamaged before screwing back down, as salt
water may enter the tanks from the deck when at sea.
Water Tank Level Gauge - The water gauge is
located on the main power panel.
Delivery - The pressure water system is operated by
an electric pump. The pump has its own master
switch on the main electrical distribution panel and
should be switched off whenever the pressurised
water supply is not required.
CAUTION
Empty the complete system, the electric boiler and
the tanks if there is a risk of temperatures below
freezing.
Windscreen washers
- The windscreen washer
system is supplied by the pressure water system via
a solenoid valve, which is activated by the dashboard
rocker switch
GREY WATER DISCHARGE SYSTEM
Shower- / Washbasin / Sink discharge
Water drains from the shower compartments via the
floor drain in two grey water tanks.
The grey water tank from the forward shower is
located in the forward saloon under the floor boards.
The grey water tank from the guest shower is located
in the guest cabin under the floor boards.
When the level becomes high enough the float switch
will turn on the pump and empty the tank. Should you
experience difficulties with the water draining away
from the shower or toilet compartment, check the
plastic filter fitted in the waste collection tank.
The grey water from the wash basins and from the
sink goes directly out.
Maintenance - Pre-season checks should be carried
out on the pressurised water, the toilet waste and
shower waste systems.
