Remote LED connection
If you want to connect the drive to a remote LED that indicates
drive activity, attach the LED connector to pins 3 and 4, as
shown in Figure 5. The red wire to the LED (+) should attach to
pin 4 on the drive. The LED must have a 0.1-inch-wide connector
to fit on these pins.
Do not install a jumper on these pins. Use
Seagate connector part number 10562-001 or equivalent.
