Mode Select (10) Command (55h)
The MODE SELECT (10) command provides a means for the initiator to send a list of drive operating mode
parameters to the drive. See the MODE SELECT command (section 5.2.1.7) for a description of the fields in
this command. Initiators should issue MODE SENSE prior to MODE SELECT to determine supported pages,
page lengths, and other parameters.

The MODE SENSE (10) command provides a means for the drive to report drive operating mode parameters
to the initiator. It is a complementary command to the MODE SELECT (10) command. See the MODE SENSE
command (Section 5.2.1.10) for a description of the fields in this command.
