Customizing the Audio Settings

The volume on GoFlex Home is changed.
Ensuring Softer Sound at Night
To ensure that sound is softer and controlled at night:
1.
On the Home screen, select
Settings
, then press
OK
.
2.
Scroll right or left to find the
Sound
screen.
3.
Select
Night Mode
, then press
OK
.
4.
Select
On
to activate Night Mode, then press
OK
.
Night Mode is activated.
Adjusting the Digital Output Settings
To adjust the digital output settings to meet the needs of your audio equipment:
1.
On the Home screen, select
Settings
, then press
OK
.
2.
Scroll right or left to find the
Sound
screen.
3.
Select
Digital Output
, then press
OK
.
4.
Select the setting you want:
•
HDMI PCM
—Supports all-digital audio and video, including standard, enhanced, and
high-definition video.
•
HDMI Raw
—Is not decoded by the multimedia drive. When you use this setting, you must
connect the multimedia drive to a receiver with decoding capabilities.
•
S/PDIF (Optical) PCM
—Converts multi-channel audio into stereo.
•
S/PDIF (Optical) RAW
—Plays digital audio without decoding.
The setting is changed.
