Press the FAN SPEED button to set the air flow rate to “HIGH”, MED(ium), or
LOW.
NOTE: Each time a button on the remote control is pressed, you should hear a
“Beep” from the Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner indicating that it has received
the command being sent by the remote control. If no “Beep” is heard, insure that
the batteries in the remote control are fresh, and that the REMOTE CONTROL
RECEIVER on the front panel of the Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner is not
obstructed.
TIMER Mode Operation:
The Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner can be programmed to automatically turn
off or turn on after a defined time period,
The time period can be 1 to 12 hours, in 1 hour increments.
To program the unit to automatically turn off:
•
The unit must be turned on.
•
Press the TIMER button on the remote control.
•
Press the HOUR button to select the time interval before turn off.
•
A “Decimal Point” will illuminate at the bottom right side of the temperature
display on the front panel of the Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner
indicating that it is operating in the TIMER mode.
•
The TIMER time indicator on the remote control will display the
programmed time interval and indicate “OFF”.
•
All other functions will continue to operate normally (temperature settings,
mode settings, and fan speeds) until the unit turns off.
•
At the end of the programmed time interval, the air conditioner will turn off.
•
To cancel this function, press the TIMER button on the remote control
again.
To program the unit to automatically turn on:
•
The unit must be turned off.
•
Press the TIMER button on the remote control.
•
Press the HOUR button to select the time interval before turn on.
•
A “Decimal Point” will illuminate at the bottom right side of the temperature
display on the front panel of the Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner
indicating that it is operating in the TIMER mode.
•
The TIMER time indicator on the remote control will display the
programmed time interval and indicate “ON”.
•
At the end of the programmed time interval, the air conditioner will turn on
and operate at the settings that were selected before turning the unit off.
•
To cancel this function, press the TIMER button on the remote control
again.
