SEABEAR H3

PC Mode

Firstly, connect the USB cable to the SEABEAR H3. Then connect the cable to a USB port
of your PC. Next, activate the PC mode on the SEABEAR H3 by selecting the menu item
PC MODE in the main menu.

Now the SEABEAR H3 is automatically recognized as mass storage device. It is not
required to install any additional drivers. Use the SEABEAR Diveapp to view the dives
stored on the SEABEAR H3. The latest version of the Diveapp can be downloaded
from the SEABEAR website

Alternatively, it is possible to access the SEABEAR H3 with any file explorer. The
SEABEAR H3 appears as local drive in your file explorer. Search for a drive with the name
SEABEAR. There are several files:

LOGBOOK.txt contains a summary of all the dives done with your SEABEAER H3

Detailed information about each dive can be found in the .CSV files. There is one file for
each dive.

BLACKBOX.DAT contains factory information about the SEABEAR H3. It is an encrypted
file which can only be read by SEABEAR technicians. Do not attempt to read or modify this
file.
