OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Principle of Operation
Propulsion
The engine is directly coupled to a
drive shaft which, in turn, rotates an
impeller. This impeller is accurately ad-
justed in a housing where the water is
drawn up from underneath the water-
craft. Then the water flows through
the impeller to a venturi. The venturi
accelerates the water and produces
thrust to move the watercraft. De-
pressing the throttle lever increases
engine speed and therefore water-
craft speed.
TYPICAL
Neutral and Reverse
(if applicable)
Neutral and reverse are obtained by
moving a reverse gate, which deviates
the thrust of water.
To obtain neutral position, pull shift le-
ver halfway. The reverse gate will be
in the middle position, deviating half of
the thrust to minimize watercraft move-
ment.
GTS MODEL
1. Shift lever in neutral position
GTI, GTX LIMITED AND GTX RFI MODELS
1. Shift lever in neutral position
◆
WARNING
Always perform the PRE-OPERATION
CHECKS before operating the
watercraft. Become thoroughly

derstood, refer to an authorized
Sea-Doo dealer.
◆
WARNING
Whenever the engine is to be start-
ed, the operator and any passen-

the watercraft.
