WARNING
Forward Deck Plate and Pedestal Seat
A deck base plate that accepts a seat pedestal can
be installed in the bow casting deck as optional
equipment. The plate is designed to receive the
optional bow pedestal seat.
The pedestal for the seat is equipped with a gas
charged spring and adjustment control lever that
allows the seat to be adjusted up or down. To
lower the seat, lift the lever and push down on
the seat to overcome the gas spring. Release the
lever to hold the seat in the desired position. To
raise the seat, lift the lever and the gas spring will
automatically lift the seat.
The bow pedestal seat is removable and designed
to be used only while fishing at anchor or at troll
-
ing speeds. It is not intended to be a passenger
seat and should never be used when the boat is
cruising or operating above trolling speed.
A PASSENGER SITTING IN THE BOW PEDESTAL SEAT WHILE
CRUISING OR OPERATING THE BOAT ABOVE TROLLING
SPEEDS CAN BE THROWN FROM THE SEAT TO THE COCKPIT
OR OVERBOARD BY THE MOTION OF THE BOAT. THIS CAN
CAUSE SEVERE INJURY OR EVEN DEATH. THIS SEAT IS
DESIGNED TO BE USED ONLY WHILE FISHING AT ANCHOR OR
AT TROLLING SPEEDS. NEVER ALLOW A PASSENGER TO SIT
IN THE BOW PEDESTAL SEAT WHILE THE BOAT IS OPERATING
ABOVE TROLLING SPEED.
Helm and Center Console
The helm and engine controls are located on the
rear of the center console. Molded-in electronics
storage is located forward of the helm and the
forward navigation lights are located on each side.
Two cup holders drain to the cockpit sole through
fittings in the side of the console.
An access door on the port side of the console
provides access to a storage compartment and to
service the helm equipment or install electronics.
If your boat is equipped with the optional 36-
volt DC electrical system for a trolling motor, the
batteries and automatic charger will be installed
inside the console.
A molded insulated cooler is installed under the
front seat of the console. A seat cushion snaps
to the cooler hatch. The cooler drains to the
overboard drain system and should be cleaned
