Yamaha is ready to stand behind your purchase
with strong warranty coverage. To be sure you
receive all the benefits of warranty for your en -
gines, please take the following steps:
• Be sure your new Yamaha is registered for
warranty. Your boat dealer should do this
at the time of sale. Make sure your dealer
gives you a copy of the completed Yamaha
registration card for your records.
• Read the Yamaha Limited Warranty statement.
This warranty applies to Yamaha outboard
motors sold in the United States, whether
purchased separately or when supplied as
original equipment by a boat builder.
• If you need warranty repairs, you must take
your Yamaha outboard to an authorized
Yamaha outboard dealer.
• If you are away from home, or your selling
dealer is not an authorized Yamaha dealer,
