SchwankAir Controller

E7

Return water

temp. sensor

error.

Fault on or missing, mandatory

Return water sensor SIReWTA

connected to Air Curtain PCB.

Try to reset the alarm. Check connections and cable. False errors can

occur in conjunction with communication error, check that all other

alarms have been reset. Measure resistance, 47kOhm at 25°C.

Wrong temperature is displayed

in Controller.

Confirm that WTA is connected to the Air Curtain PCB and securely

fastened to the return water pipe and compare with what the actual

temperature is.
Room Temp. Sensor [Optional] - sensor must not be connected to Air

Curtain PCB when the intention is to use return water sensor. When

SIReWTA is used, Room Temp. Sensor [Optional] shall be connected

to the Controller External Board.

E8

Internal

sensor Error

Fault on or missing internal

temperature sensor, SIReIT,

connected to Air Curtain PCB.

Try to reset the alarm. Check connections and cable. False errors can

occur in conjunction with communication error, check that all other

alarms have been reset. Measure resistance, 47kOhm at 25°C.

E10

Program error

[different

programs]

Two or more Air Curtain PCB

in the system have different

programs.

Try to reset the alarm. Controller can control different types of units,

e.g. Fan heaters or air curtains, water or electrical units, but they

cannot be combined. The only exception is ambient air curtains in

combination with either electrical or water heated units of the same

model. Check the datalabels of your units and contact SchwankAir

technical support.

E12

Room sensor

error

Fault on or missing external room

sensor, Room Temp. Sensor

[Optional] connected to Air

Curtain PCB.

Try to reset the alarm. Check connections and cable. False errors can

occur in conjunction with communication error, check that all other

alarms have been reset. Measure resistance, 47kOhm at 25°C.

E14

Outdoor

sensor error

Fault on or missing, mandatory

outdoor temperature sensor,

Outdoor Temp. Sensor,

connected to Controller External

Board.

Try to reset the alarm. Check connections and cable. False errors can

occur in conjunction with communication error, check that all other

alarms have been reset. Measure resistance, 47kOhm at 25°C.

E20

Communication

error

Controller External Board

[external pcboard]

do not communicate.

Try to reset the alarm. Check connections, modular cables and

terminals, between all units and components. Systematically shift

position of communication cables to identify a broken terminal or

cables.

E21

Room sensor

error

Fault on internal room

temperature sensor in

Controller.

Try to reset the alarm. Check connections and cable. False errors can

occur in conjunction with communication error, check that all other

alarms have been reset. If the error is not rectified Controller must be

replaced.

E22

Multiple control

units connected

Logging tool or an extra control

unit Controller is connected to

the system.

Try to reset the alarm. The system will only support one control unit,

disconnect and reset alarm.

E23

Firmware

error

Components of different releases

are used in the system.

Make sure all units are from the same release, contact Frico

technical support.
