5. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
If the pressure washer is improperly used, it may cause injuries and damages.
To avoid them, read the information and follow the instructions below:
1.
This equipment:
- has hot, electrical and moving parts;
- has a 2P+Ground plug. For your safety do not remove the ground pin and do not use an adapter to with
only 2 pins – risk of electric shock;
- might cause mechanical or electrical interference on sensitive nearby equipments;
- ATTENTION: Do not direct the pressure jet toward people or animals.
- requires an instructed person to use and adequate personal protective equipment. The water jet
might cause small objects to fly. Because of this, when using the pressure washer, wear protection
glasses and proper gear.

Unplug the pressure washer from the power outlet before performing any kind of maintenance or cleaning it.
3.
Never use solvent to clean the product externally.
4.
Cleaning products: to avoid damaging the surface to be cleaned, use only neutral detergent. If it’s necessary
to use alkaline or acid detergents, read carefully the manufacturer’s instructions. Do not use chlorine or its
derivates that affect the environment. Make sure the pressure washer and its parts are well cleaned before
storage.

Do not use an extension cord that doesn’t meet the specifications (see Table 8.1), and that has mends.
If an extension cord is being used, the socket and the power plug must be waterproof. WARNING: Ina-
ppropriate extension cords can be dangerous.

The high-pressure jet might be hazardous when used incorrectly. The jet must not be directed towards pe-
ople, animals, electrical equipments or on the pressure washer itself. Do not direct the jet against oneself,
another person, or to clean clothes and shoes.
7.
This image is fixed on the product in order to warn you not to direct the water Jet to people, animals, electric
equipments or the pressure washer itself.
8.
The pressure washer must not be used by children and untrained or incapable people.
9.
To keep the product’s mechanisms safe, use only SCHULZ genuine spare parts.
10.
Do not use the pressure washer with toxic or flammable liquids or any inadequate chemical. Definite
explosion and intoxication hazard.
11.
Dry the hands properly before handling components that are connected to the electricity source (on/off
button, power cord, plug, etc.), especially when turning on/off and unplugging from the power outlet.
12.
Always respect the requirements of the local water supply company. In accordance with DIN 1998, the
pressure washer can be directly connected to the water supply network only if a check valve is installed in
the washer inlet hose (items are not supplied with the product).
13.
After use, disconnect the hose, trigger gun, extension wands, nozzles, etc. and store them carefully in a dry
and safe place. Keep the product out of reach of children.
14.
The appliance is not to be used by children or persons with reduced sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
15.
Avoid storing the product at temperatures below 5°C.
16.
Do not modify the safety valve setting.
17.
Do not modify the diameters or mechanisms of operational performance.
18.
Be careful with the high-pressure hose (do not step on it, fold or drive the car over it).
