5.2 Mounting with vacuum blower

Work step description

1. Remove the cover from the
Schmalz Blower Box.
2. Position the base plate at the
intended installation location.
Important:
If the Schmalz Blower Box is
used, the blower may only be installed in a
horizontal position. The base plate must be
securely connected to the support with 4
screws.
Exception: The blower does not have to be
secured for floor mounting.

Fit motor sleeve over motor.

1. Fit additional sound absorber with
the large bore hole over the
exhaust air silencer.
2. Ensure that the foam insert
contacts the housing wall of the
sound absorber correctly. If
necessary, adjust with a screw
driver.

1. Position the blower base on the
stud bolts.
2. Attach with washers and locking nut
(size M10).
The fan hood of the motor must press
slightly against the sound absorber, so that
only cold air from outside is supplied to the
fan.

Secure additional sound absorbers with 4
hex bolts (size M5) with washers to the
front of the base plate.
The additional sound absorber must press
slightly into the side of the sound absorbing
mat.
