3.8 Composition of the machine

The machine is composed of the following parts:

1. PRE-PUMP
2. PRE-FILTRATION UNIT
3. WATERMAKER GROUP

3.8.1

Pre-pump

This pump has the duty of picking the sea water up and send it to the pump 2, through the pre filtering unit.
On the pump head there is a nut, used to purge the air, or introduce water in the inlet connection, to facilitate
the suction of the pump at the first start-up. On the pump inlet there is a T fitting, where is connect the

for the automatic washing of the unit
