Thank you for purchasing a SaxxTec Product! With the following tips, we would like
to assist you in connecting and operating your active speaker so as to guarantee
you the best possible results.

Safety instructions

Please read this user’s manual carefully and follow all the steps required for the
initial operation. Please take into account and follow all warnings and safety
instructions that are indicated on the device and in the user’s manual. Always keep
this guide within reach in case of any subsequent questions.

•  Please position the power cable and other connection cables in such a way that

there are safe from crimping or being stepped on as well as avoid trip hazards.

•  Remove the power cable from the socket during thunderstorms or when not in

use for a longer time.

•  Our products are only designed for the use in ordinary living rooms and moder-

ate climates and should not be used in damp areas or tropical climates. They
should also not be exposed to dripping or splashing water.

•  Defective fuses, if accessible from the outside, are only to be replaced with

similar fuse types. The device is first to be disconnected from the main power
supply.

•  The temperature of the rear cooling surface can rise above 60°C after prolonged

high-volume operation. Touching the device should therefore be avoided in such
cases.

•  Active speakers should never be placed on the electronics side during operation

as this could lead to overheating. Make sure there is a distance of at least 5
cm around the housing to allow adequate ventilation.

•  Please leave any maintenance and repair works of your active speaker exclu-

sively to the SaxxTec technical service. Maintenance is necessary in case of
any type of damage, e.g. defective power cables and connectors, if objects fell
on the device, if the device fell or in case of penetration of liquids. Never open
the device yourself since handling the mains voltage (230 V/ 115V) can be fatal.
