4.4.9 Boot mode
In
Start mode,
use the arrow keys <▲>, <▼> to select Normal,
Power & Boot
, and
Boot & Auto Meas.
(Switch on and Auto
Meas.).

Note : The switch for the hardware mode in the battery
compartment must be set according to the start mode.
Normal:
You must set the hardware switch for the mode to
Normal.
This is the normal
operating mode of the sound level meter.
Power and Boot
(switching on and starting):
In this case you must set the hardware switch for the mode to
Boot.
After selecting
this mode, the sound level meter will turn on as soon as a suitable power supply
is available. The device can be integrated into another system, especially if a
power failure is expected. The sound level meter automatically switches on again
after a power failure.
Boat
and
Auto Meas.
(Start and Auto Meas.):
In this case you must set the hardware switch for the mode to
Boot.
If you select
this mode, the sound level meter not only turns on as soon as the operating
voltage is applied, but also starts measuring. If the sound level meter has been
integrated into another system, it switches on and starts measuring automatically
after a power failure.
Hardware mode switch:
The hardware switch for the mode is located in the battery compartment. It is easily
accessible after removing the batteries. Slide the switch to the "Boot" or "Normal"
position using pliers or a pen.

charges before operation.
