3.3.3. HANDLING BY ROLLS.
It is an emergency handling. It is possible only if the machine is
bolted on the wooden frame or on the bottom of the case and
if the displacement happens on a flat surface (not on inclined
floor).
During the displacement it is necessary to avoid rough
movements or impacts and keep under control the press, especially if the floor is
not perfectly flat: grip wedges have to be ready for an eventual uncontrolled
displacement of the press.
NOTE: this is a high risk operation, to be used only in emergency cases by expert
operators, conscious of risks.
3.4. PREARRANGEMENT FOR A CORRECT INSTALLATION.
To obtain the best operational results, the environment where the press will be
placed must have the following characteristics:
-
Clean place and without dust
-
Flat floor, steady, with anti-dust paint, without vibrations to fix the press.
-
Environment with suitable ventilation
-
Environment insulated by electro-magnetic fields produced by electric devices
(for example induction furnace, transformer or big electric motors, high
frequency instruments, etc.) that can produce an irregular functioning of the
control devices
-
Factory provided with power supply socket with grounding circuit in relation with
safety rules in force in installation Country.
The equipment needs the following characteristics:
-
Electric connection: 400 Volts, 50 Hz;
-
Installed power: 10 KW;
-
compressed air: 150 litres/minute (vacuum pump: electro-mechanical);
-
temperature: - 10ºC / + 40ºC;
-
moisture: 40 / 80%.
3.5. NEEDED SPACE FOR INSTALLATION.
Main dimensions of the equipment are indicated in the machine layout (see
chapter 9).
