▪
Place a cup under the steam nozzle and while vinegar is running through the filter holder, briefly
open the steam control button (turn the button up to the left) to remove any possible milk residue
from inside the steam pipe.
▪
Close the steam control button (turn the button down to the right) so that the remaining vinegar can
run into the bowl.
▪
Once the bowl is full of vinegar, switch the machine off and leave it to cool down. Unhook the filter
holder and filter. Empty the machine and rinse everything thoroughly with hot water.
▪
Repeat the last two steps at least twice until you can't smell any more vinegar.
Caution
While the machine is operating, do not remove the water tank (3) or the filter holder (4) because the machine
is under pressure. To check whether the water tank is still under pressure:
▪
Switch the machine off.
▪
Disconnect from the mains.
▪
Open the steam nozzle by carefully turning the steam control button (9) up to the left.
▪
If steam escapes, this means there is still pressure in the water tank.
(CAUTION, RISK OF
SCALDING!!!)
▪
Place a bowl under the steam nozzle and release all the steam left in the tank.
▪
Once all the steam has been released close the steam nozzle again by turning the steam control
button (so that the button is down to the right).
▪
You can now remove the water tank (3) and unhook the filter holder (4).
