Toggle the SET button up or down to select the desired parameter.

NTSC:
Outputs NTSC video signals.
PAL:
Outputs PAL video signals.
<If “VIDEO OUTPUT” is selected>
VIDEO:
Outputs standard video signals.
S-VIDEO:
Outputs S-VIDEO signals.

NOTE
When connecting to a standard video input terminal

On your camera’s Option Screen, set the “VIDEO OUTPUT” setting to
“VIDEO”.

Do not connect to a S-VIDEO input terminal, as doing so may cause the
TV to automatically switch to the S-VIDEO input mode, and no image will
appear on the TV monitor.
When connecting to an S-VIDEO input terminal

On your camera’s Option Screen, set the “VIDEO OUTPUT” setting to “S-
VIDEO”.

Do not connect to a VIDEO INPUT terminal, as doing so may cause the TV
to automatically switch to the video input mode, and no image will appear
on the TV monitor.
If no image appears on the TV...

If the TV system setting or video output setting is not correct for the
connected equipment, no image will appear on the TV.
When set to “PAL” and connected to a TV using the included S-AV
interface cable (page 144)
Shooting:
Images are displayed on the LCD monitor only and do not
appear on the TV.
Playback:
Images are displayed on the TV only and do not appear on the
LCD monitor.
