HIC trouble confirmed after 8 retries

<Diagnosis>

• HIC protection activated by abnormal current or

temperature

• Blocked refrigerant circuit pipe
• Instantaneous power failure caused by lightning
• Defective HIC or outdoor fan motor shutdown
• Defective high pressure switch or heat pump unit PCB
• Trouble in hot water storage circulation system (such

as trapped air or blockage)

• Defective hot water storage circulation pump
• Defective electric expansion valve in heat pump unit
• When there is no water in the tank unit
• Improper installation of unit

When the compressor temperature is too high and this is
confirmed after 8 retries

<Diagnosis>

• Defective electric expansion valve in heat pump

unit

• Blocked refrigerant circuit pipe or escaping refrigerant

When the current is too high and this is confirmed after
8 retries

• When an operating current of 12A or more has flowed
