Resetting Your Phone
Resetting the phone restores all the factory defaults, including the ringer types and
display settings. The Internal Phone Book, Call History, Scheduler and Messages are
not affected.
To reset your phone:
1.From the Security Menu display (See “Accessing the Security Menu on page 65),
highlight
Reset Phone
, and press OK.
2. If you’re sure you want to reset your phone, highlight
Yes
and press OK.
Restricting Calls
You can restrict both incoming calls and outgoing calls if necessary. (The Restrict
Calls setting does not apply to 911 or Sprint PCS Customer Care.)
To restrict calls:
1. From the Security Menu display (See “Accessing the Security Menu on page 65),
highlight
Limit Use
, and press OK.
2. Highlight
Outgoing Calls
or
Incoming Calls
and press OK.
3. Select your desired option, and press OK.
Options:
l
Allow All
: You can make or receive all calls.
l
Phone Book Only
: Only Phone Book entries, Voicemail, or Special #s (see the next
page) are available to make or receive calls.
l
Special #s Only
: Only three special number’s entries are available to make or
receive calls.
Note: Restricted incoming calls are forwarded to voicemail.
Unrestricting Calls
To unrestrict all calls:
1. From the step 2 above, highlight the current setting from
Outgoing Calls
or
Incoming Calls
, and press OK.
2.Highlight
Allow All
, and press OK.
Using Special Numbers
You can save three special numbers in addition to your Internal Phone Book entries
(they can be the same number). You can make and receive calls from special numbers
even when your phone is locked.
To add or replace a special number:
1. From the Security Menu display (See “Accessing the Security Menu on page 65),
highlight
SecuritySetting
, and press OK.
