the RECYCLE folder is empty.

Erasing a ﬁle

You can select a ﬁle in a folder and then erase it.
• If the recycle bin function is turned off (

page 152), once you erase a ﬁle, it can no

longer be recovered. Therefore, before erasing a ﬁle, always check the content of the ﬁle
to make sure you really do not need it any more.

• Before this operation, check to make sure there is enough remaining battery power.
• Regardless of whether the recycle bin function is turned on or off, ﬁles in the M folder are

not moved to the RECYCLE ( ) folder, but are completely erased from the unit.

• A sub folder in the M folder cannot be erased. Connect the unit to your PC and then erase

the sub folder from your PC.
