Setting the equalizer
Adjust the volume of high tone/ intermediate tone/ low tone to a preferred level
according to the type of music.

Turn on the unit and press and hold down the [
] button for
two seconds or more in the stop state.

When "
" is displayed, press the [
] or[
] button to select
the desired category of music and press the [
(play)] button.
:The equalizer is not used.
:The low tone range is emphasised.
:The low tone range and the high tone range are emphasised slightly.
:The low tone range and the high tone range are emphasised.
:The intermediate tone range is emphasised.

Setting is now complete.
Note
If the "
" folder or the "
" folder has been selected, "
" is
displayed. In this case, press the [
(fast-reverse)] or [
(fast-forward)]
button and then conduct the operation above.
Note
This setting remains even if the power is turned off.
Checking the file information
Press the [
] button in the stop state to check the file information such as
date, current time, recording date and time, and remaining recordable time. The
information displayed depends on the selected folder.
