Check the following items:
1-1 Is the exterior of the UPS in any way damaged or deformed?
1-2 Is the outlet that connects the UPS a dedicated outlet for one UPS?
1-3 Is the outlet of the utility power that connects the UPS a two-pole outlet with
ground?
If there is any damage such as a dent or
deformation that may affect the UPS interior,
contact your sales representative or SANYO
DENKI. Do not use the UPS as is. Doing so is
dangerous.
Do not connect the UPS to any outlet other than
that specified. Doing so may result in abnormal
heat generation or a fire.
Prepare a UPS dedicated outlet so as to not
overload the electrical circuit.
When the outlet does not have a ground
terminal, ground construction by a certified
electrician is required. Request construction
through your sales representative. Do not use
the UPS in an environment where it cannot be
grounded.
Attach the conversion adapter in the correct
orientation. Do not attach the adapter in the
reverse orientation.

Prepare the supplied input cable.
Be sure to use the supplied cable. When a cable
other than the specified cable is used, smoke
and/or a fire may occur.
3
3
Connect the input cable to the “INPUT” inlet on the back of the UPS.
Fully insert the plug so that the plug is not loose.
Back of UPS
From here on, the 100 V model UPS is described as
an example. Perform the same operation with the
200 V model UPS as well.
