Battery Replacement
If LCD displays the low battery icon, or there is no response or dis-
play on the LCD, the battery must be replaced:
1. Open the battery cover at the bottom of the thermometer
2. Remove the old batteries for disposal
3. Replace with 2 new AA alkaline batteries
4. Slide battery cover back until it snaps in place
Wait 10 minutes before using thermometer
Note:

The thermometer comes with two AA alkaline batteries.

Use new single usage AA alkaline batteries only. Do not use
re-chargeable batteries.

Remove the batteries when thermometer is not used for an
extended period of time.

To protect the environment, dispose of used
batteries at appropriate collection sites accord-
ing to national or local regulations.
