Snooze function
1. The buzzer or radio alarm can be silenced for 5 minutes by pressing any buttons other than
Standby button. While the snooze timer is active the remaining snooze time is shown on the
display.
2. To cancel the snooze timer while the alarm is suspended, press the Standby button. The
display will briefly show an ‘Alarm Off’ message.
Controlling alarms in standby
When your radio is in standby, the alarms can be controlled using the Alarm button. This avoids
the risk of disturbance to someone who is asleep.
1. To change the states of the alarms when in standby, press and release the Alarm button for
alarm 1 or press the Alarm button again for alarm 2.
2. Rotate the Tuning control. The display will cycle through alarm disabled and alarm enabled.
3. Press and release the Select button to confirm the alarm setting.
Sleep function
Your radio can be set to turn off after a preset time has elapsed. The sleep setting can be
adjusted between 15 and 90 minutes. Ensure your radio is switched on.
1. To set the desired sleep time, press and hold the Menu button to enter the Advanced menu of
the current mode.
2. Rotate the

until ‘System’ is highlighted on the display. Press the
Tuning

to enter the system settings menu.
3. Rotate the Tuning control until “Sleep” is highlighted on the display. Press the Tuning control
to enter the setting. The sleep settings available are 15, 30, 45, 60 or 90 minutes. Press the
Select button to confirm the setting. The display will exit the sleep options. The sleep symbol ‘S’
will show on the display. Your radio will switch off after the preset sleep time has elapsed.
4. To cancel the sleep timer and switch off your radio before the chosen sleep time has elapsed,
press the Standby button. To cancel the sleep timer without switching off your radio, select
“Sleep off.”
5. When the sleep time has been set you may view the remaining sleep time. Press the Sleep
button on the remote control. The remaining sleep time will show on the display.
