5.1.2.
Installing an M.2 SSD
To have access the M.2 SSD socket please proceed according to the steps described:
1.
Open the device as described in the subsection 5.1 "Opening and Closing the SBOX-5002" (step 1-7).
2.
Locate the M.2 Key B socket (Figure 5, pos. 2) and the corresponding fixing bolt (Figure 5, pos. 4, 5 or 6) depending
on the type of the M.2 SSD.
3.
Align the notches on the M.2 SSD with the notches in the M.2 Key B socket (Figure 5, pos. 2). Insert the M.2 SSD
into the corresponding socket (Figure 3, pos. 2) and rotate it down with the fixing hole of the card over the
corresponding fixing bolt.
4.
Press the M.2 SSD on the side with the fixing hole and secure it with the available fastening screw (Figure 5, pos.
4, 5 or 6).

In order to close the SBOX-5002, proceed step 8 - 9 described in the subsection 5.1 "Opening and Closing the
SBOX-5002".
A fixed fixing bolt is provided for Key B Type 2280.
A screwable fixing bolt is provided for Key B Type 2242 and Key B Type 2260. Screw
the bolt to the corresponding position according to the type of the SSD. In case of a
Type 2280 SSD, unscrew it from the baseboard before the installation.
5.1.3.
Installing an M.2 WLAN / Bluetooth module
To have access the M.2 WLAN / Bluetooth module socket please proceed according to the steps described:
1.
Open the device as described in the subsection 5.1 "Opening and Closing the SBOX-5002" (step 1-7).
2.
Locate the M.2 Key E socket (Figure 5, pos. 3) and the corresponding fixing bolts (Figure 5, pos. 6).
3.
Align the notches on the M.2 WLAN / Bluetooth module with the notches in the M.2 Key E socket (Figure 5, pos. 3).
Insert the M.2 WLAN / Bluetooth module into the corresponding socket (Figure 3, pos. 3) and rotate it down with
the fixing hole of each card over the corresponding fixing bolt.
4.
Press the M.2 WLAN / Bluetooth module down on the side with the fixing hole and secure it with the available
fastening screw (Figure 5, pos. 6).
5.
In order to close the SBOX-5002, proceed step 8 - 9 described in the subsection 5.1 "Opening and Closing the
SBOX-5002".
M.2 Type 2230 WLAN / Bluetooth module shares the same fixing bolt with M.2 Type
2280 SSD. They should be installed together and fixed by one common screw.
