Slide the top access cover backward. Some pressure may be required.

Lift the access covers up.

Now you have access to the internal DDR4 SO-DIMM and M.2 connectors / slots / sockets respectively in order to
remove or install hardware components.

For closing replace carefully the top and rear access covers to the system and screw the rear access cover on
with the retained screws.
9.
Tighten the retained screws when the covers are firmly in place.
When used as intended, the SBOX-5002 is to operate only in closed condition.
Only when the access cover is properly fixed with the screws, it is ensured that the
user does not have access to the internal parts of the SBOX-5002.
5.1.1.
Installing SO-DIMM memory module
To install a SO-DIMM memory module please proceed according to the steps described:
1.
Open the device as described in the subsection 5.1 "Opening and Closing the SBOX-5002" (step 1-7).
2.
Locate the SO-DIMM memory socket (Figure 5, pos. 1).
3.
Align the notches on the SO-DIMM memory module with the notches in the SO-DIMM memory socket. Insert the
SO-DIMM memory module into the corresponding socket at a 30-degree angle.
4.
Rotate the SO-DIMM memory module down until it snaps into place and the levers close.
5.
In order to close the SBOX-5002, proceed step 8 & 9 described in the subsection 5.1 "Opening and Closing the
SBOX-5002".
