1. SAFETY WARNINGS
ො Read all instructions carefully.
ො This appliance should not be used by chil-
dren from 0 to 8 years old. It can be used
by children aged 8 years and over and by
people with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capacities or lack of experience
and knowledge, if they have been given
the appropriate supervision or training re-
garding the use of the appliance in a safe
way and they understand the dangers in-
volved. Children must not play with the ap-
pliance. Cleaning and maintenance to be
carried out by the user must not be carried
out by children.
ො For additional protection, the installation
of a residual current device (RCD) having
a rated residual operating current not ex-
ceeding 30mA is advisable in the electrical
circuit. Ask your installer for advice.
ො If the power cord is damaged, it must
be replaced by the manufacturer, its af-
ter-sales service or similarly qualified per-
sonnel in order to avoid a hazard.
ො The appliance is not intended for oper-
ation by means of an external timer or a
separate remote control system.
ො Only the proper connector should be used.
ො Do not use accessories that have not been
recommended or supplied for this product.
ො Disconnect the appliance from the power
supply if it is left unattended and before
assembly, disassembly or cleaning. Let
cool before cleaning or maintenance.
ො This appliance is intended for use as an ap-
pliance for domestic and similar use such
as: small kitchen areas in shops, offices and
other work environments; country houses;
by customers in hotels, motels and other
residential use settings; shelter-like envi-
ronments. Do not use outdoors.
ො Do not use the appliance for any other use
than its intended use.
ො Check that the voltage of your home pow-
er supply is the same as the one marked
on the device.
ො Keep children away from the appliance
during operation.
ො Only use the machine in dry places.
ො Do not let the power cord dangle to avoid
tripping.
ො Do not use the appliance if it malfunctions,
if the power cord is damaged, or after a fall
or other damage to the appliance. Have
the appliance checked and repaired to
avoid any risk.
ො Only connect the appliance to a properly
earth wired outlet.
ො Always unplug the power cord before re-
locating the appliance, cleaning or making
maintenance, and after long periods of
non-use.
ො Never hold or run the power cord around
sharp corners or edges.
ො If you need an extension cord, make
sure it is suitable for your appliance (3-

Always ensure that there is water in the
water tank at least at the minimum level.
