Switching the information display mode
You can switch between the on-screen information display modes:
Slide the POWER switch downward to turn on the power, and then press the
Display (
) /

CHECK button.
Each press of the button toggles the OSD (On Screen Display) function on and off.
•
Full display mode
: All information will appear.
•
Minimum display mode
: Only operating status indicator will appear.
If the DVD camcorder has warning information, a warning message will appear.
Checking the remaining battery and recording capacity
•
Slide the POWER switch downward to turn off the power, and then press
the Display (

CHECK button.
• After a while, the battery time and approximate recordable time according to
the storage and quality appear for about 10 seconds. If a storage media is not
inserted, its icon is dimmed.
• The
Display

) /

CHECK
button will not work in the menu and quick
menu mode.
• More than 1 minute may be required to display the disc information
depending on the disc condition.
