Broadcast messages
(Menu 5.6)
Your phone receives broadcast messages, which
are text messages related to various topics,
such as weather forecast, traffic, and news
report, from networks. Use this menu to access
received broadcast messages.
• Read: open received broadcast messages.
The Volatile box saves messages until the
phone is switched off.
The Archive box saves messages
indefinitely. Press <Options> and select
Save when a text notification appears or
while viewing a broadcast message in the
Volatile box. The message is saved in the
Archive box.
• Receive: enable or disable the reception of
broadcast messages.
• Channel list: indicates the channels from
which you receive broadcast messages.
Please contact your service provider for
further details.
• Language: select the preferred languages
in which broadcast messages display.
Memory status
(Menu 5.7)
Use this menu to check the number of SMS
messages or the amount of memory currently
in use for storing MMS messages.
Funbox
(Menu 6)
The Funbox menu allows you to use the web
browser, play Java games, and access images
and sounds stored in the phone’s memory.
To access this menu, press <Menu> in Idle
mode and select Funbox.
