OLVING

Troubleshooting Error Messages

Paper is jammed inside the printer.

• Clear the paper jam. See “Clearing Paper Jams” on

page 7.7

Paper jam

The printer top cover may be opened or the toner cartridge is not
installed.

• Check that the printer top cover door and rear door (face-up output tray)

are closed properly.

• Make sure that the toner cartridge is correctly installed in the printer.

Door open, no toner cartridge

While printing in the manual feed mode, the printer is out of paper in
the Multi-Purpose Tray.

• Load the correct paper into the Multi-Purpose Tray and press the

Demo

button on the control panel to print each page.
