Overview
ELP (Enhanced Laser Printing) is a scalable solution that captures, converts, adapts and supplements
the data in print streams, without the complicated and costly programming of the proprietary applica-
tions that create them. It can even archive, e-mail and be integrated in existing LAN fax solutions. The
modular licensing system allows you to acquire only the features you need.
E-Forms module
Most electronic forms solutions typically offer limited support for Windows applications, like Microsoft
Word or Excel. The E-Forms module makes it easy to print forms and form sets on blank paper auto-
matically, including control of input and output trays and finishing devices.
Benefit
• Eliminates preprinted stationery, while consis-
tently applying the Corporate Design
• Simplifies electronic stationery maintenance
• Intuitive and fast to use: Create forms (including
colour) using any software (such as MS Word or
OpenOffice)
• Creates (1D and 2D) bar codes and supports
OCR-A and OCR-B
• Works independently of existing applications
• A value-based solution, thanks to modular
licensing for the precise functionality necessary
Feature
• Redirect or copy print streams to other destina-
tions, including remote printers, e-mail, FTP, DMS,
and so on by creating PDF or TIFF on the fly
• Hide, supplement or process print stream data
to control e-forms, input or output trays, vary
paper margins, or make many other changes
dynamically
• Postal optimization and printing of OMR marks
for envelope inserters
Usage Area
• Marketing, to process mailings
• Finance and book keeping, to control printing
from ERP or host applications
Supported Environment
• Supported products : Samsung printer and

printing environments
• Encrypt/decrypt or compress/decompress print
streams to preserve security or bandwidth
