A spooling solution that makes life easier for

ISD300
Overview
Though it is a core network task, print job spooling
is often inefficient on traditional servers (such as NT
or Unix servers). This causes performance prob-
lems and needs a lot of administration – making it
expensive. The ISD300 is a network appliance to
spool and manage network print jobs and print
queues centrally. This includes prioritising, deleting,
halting, and re-routing jobs to balance printer
loads. It also works as a platform for third-party
solutions (such as barcode printing). The ISD300
automatically detects the make, model and print
server used by all your network printers, and
makes them available as ready-configured print
queues. It even installs drivers on clients accessing
a printer. In short, it takes much of the administra-
tion and cost out of network printer administration.
