usinG ThE auTo rEhEaT/cook fEaTurEs
The Auto Reheat/Cook features have pre-programmed cooking times. You do not need
to set either the cooking times or the power level.
You can adjust the size of the serving by turning the
dial knob
.
Open the door. Place the food in the center of the turntable. Close the door.

on the following page for a description of the various
preprogrammed settings.

button.

The food is cooked according to the
preprogrammed setting selected.
• When cooking has finished, the oven will
beep and flash “0” four times. The oven will
then beep once per minute until you open
the door.
Use only cookware that is microwave-safe.
usinG ThE dEfrosT fEaTurEs
The Defrost features enables you to defrost meat, poultry, fish, bread, cake and fruit.
The defrost time and power level are set automatically. You simply select the program
and the weight.
Open the door. Place the frozen food on a microwave safe dish in the center of the
turntable. Close the door.

Select the type of food that you are defrosting by

button repeatedly. Refer to the table
on the following page for a description of the various
preprogrammed settings.

Select the weight of the food by turning the
dial knob

• Defrosting begins.
• The oven beeps half way through defrosting
to remind you to turn the food over.

Press the
sToP/Eco
button to finish defrosting.
result:
When defrosting has finished, the oven will beep
and flash “0” four times. The oven will then beep
once per minute until you open the door.
Use only containers that are microwave-safe.
You can also defrost food manually. To do so, set the micro wave to the 20 % power
level. Refer to the section entitled “Defrosting” on page 31 for further details.
The following table lists the various Defrost programs, food quantities, and instructions.
Remove all packaging material before defrosting.
Place meat, poultry, and fish on a flat glass plate or on a ceramic plate, arrange bread
and cake on kitchen paper.

program is suitable for whole chicken as well as

Turn the fish over when the oven beeps. This
program is suitable for whole fishes as well as for
fish fillets. Let stand for 20-60 minutes.

Bread/Cake
0.1-2.0 lbs
Put bread horizontally on a piece of kitchen
paper and turn over as soon as the oven beeps.
Place cake on a ceramic plate and if possible,
turn over as soon as the oven beeps. (The oven
keeps operating and only stops when you open
the door.) This program is suitable for all kinds of
bread, sliced or whole, as well as for bread rolls
and baguettes. Arrange bread rolls in a circle.
This program is also suitable for all kinds of yeast
cakes, biscuits, cheese cakes, and puff pastry.
It is not suitable for short/crust pastry, fruit and
cream cakes or for cake with chocolate topping.
Let stand for 10-30 minutes.

Spread fruit evenly into a flat glass dish. This
program is suitable for all kind of fruits. Let stand
for 5-20 minutes.
