Rotate the Mode dial (
) to select
TAv
.

Turn the front dial (
) and adjust the
shutter speed.

Turn the rear dial (
) and adjust the aperture value.
- The shutter speed, aperture value and sensitivity are displayed in the viewfi nder
and on the LCD panel.

You can set the automatic ISO sensitivity range while using the TAv shooting
mode.
- Press the
Fn
button on the rear body of the camera, and then use the rear dial
(
) to adjust the automatic ISO sensitivity range.
5.
Now, you are ready to take some pictures.
You can keep using the same shutter speed and aperture stop even if the
brightness of the subject changes. You can set both the desired shutter speed
and aperture to take the picture. Automatically sets the sensitivity so that
shutter speed and aperture will give the proper exposure according to the
brightness of the subject.
The next image was taken in low light conditions using a fast shutter speed of
“1/125.” ISO has automatically changed to “1600” without changing the shutter
speed or aperture stop.
