During installing the update files for software update, all functions including 
making/receiving phone call are not available.

•

When you cannot perform any operations because of the failure of the 
software update, please take your FOMA terminal to DOCOMO-specified 
repair office.

You can connect to the network with the FOMA terminal to update the 
software of the FOMA terminal.

From the Home screen,

For the first using, entry of email address and password to register 
Samsung account is required.

Set according to the onscreen instructions.

When software update is completed, the FOMA terminal restarts 
automatically.

You can update software of the FOMA terminal using "Samsung Kies" 
installed to a PC.

To suspend installation temporarily after downloading software, tap 
"Cancel" on the confirmation screen for continuing installation.
When you suspend installation, the installation can be started 
immediately by tapping "Resume update".
