Backlight
The backlight illuminates the display and the keypad.
When you press any key or open the folder, the
backlight turns on and remains on for a given period
of time, depending on your setting in the
Back Light
menu (
Menu 6.1.4)
. When no keys are pressed, the
display dims and turns off after one minute to
conserve your battery power.
To specify the length of time the backlight is active,
set the
Back Light
menu

External Display
Your phone has an external display on the folder. It
indicates when you have an incoming call or a
message. At the specified time it also alerts you when
