Serial Port Device Selections
Use the Serial Port Device Selections program to define the type of device that is attached to
each serial port. In this case, define the port where the SRP-500 is attached as “PRINTER”
with a printer type of “SAM SRP-270”.

the S-MODE
PROGRAMMING
MENU to display the
SERIAL PORT
DEVICE
SELECTIONS
screen.
2. Press the
↑
or
↓
keys
to select the port
where the printer is
connected. Press
ENTER
to move the
active cursor to the
device selection
column.
3. Press
↓
key to select PRINTER and press
ENTER
. The list of printer types will display.
4. Select SAM SRP-270 and press
ENTER
to accept the new selection.
5. Press
ESC
to return to the SERIAL PORT DEVICE SELECTIONS screen with the new
port selection active.
6. Press
ESC
again to return to the S-MODE PROGRAMMING MENU.
