Driver Installation Information Samsung SRP-500 Setup & Service Information
SRP-500 Driver Installation
1. From your Windows desktop, select
Start
, then
Settings
, and then
Printers
. The
Printers dialog box displays.
2. From the Printers dialog box, double click the
Add Printer
icon. The Add Printer
wizard window displays.
3. Click
Next
. The wizard asks: How is the printer attached to your computer?
4. Choose
Local Printer
, click
Next
. The wizard asks you to select the printer you are
installing.
5. Click the
Have Disk
command button. From the Install From Disk dialog box, click
the
Browse
button to locate the appropriate driver file:

6. Select the appropriate driver (i.e. srp500.inf for Windows98) and click
OK
.
7. The Install From Disk dialog box displays, click
OK
.
8. The Add Printer Wizard now displays with the SAMSUNG SRP-500 selected. Click
Next
. The printer driver files are now installed.
9. The Add Printer Wizard asks you to select the port to which the printer will be
connected. Select the port and click
Next
.
10. Enter a printer name and select whether you want your windows based program to use
this printer as the default printer. Click
Next
.
11. Select whether you wish to print a test page and click
Finish
. The printer driver
installation is complete.
