1. Calculate the height t

based on the
previously determined values (see Table
9-1 and Table 9-2) and enter it into Ta-
ble 9-3.
2. Insert shims (125). See section 9.4.2.
Use only one shim and one gasket to com-
pensate for the height difference in valves up
to NPS 4. Install two shims and two gaskets
in alternating order in valves larger than
NPS 6.
