Ghibli pump 10:1
is a pneumalic pump to be used for low and
medium pressure transferring of fluids. Ghibli pump is essentially
constituted of an air motor and a structure called "
material pumping
group
" or simply "
pumping group
".
In the pneumatic motor, the compressed air causes the vertical
reciprocating movement of the motor piston.This movement is
transmitted through a connecting rod to the material pumping
piston.
So doing the pump sucks in the fluid to be sent to the outlet.
The ratio 10:1 means that the outlet pressure of material is 10
times higher than the pump feed air pressure.
