5.2.3. Connection of the drawing rod and the transfer pump
Prior to start-up the
Inotransfer
, the drawing rod must be
connected to the transfer pump by a transport hose of a
length defined by the user.
Suction is from the top of the pump, discharge from the
bottom.
The use of a hose not supplied by Sames may cause electrostatic discharge problems.
5.3. Setting the different parameters
5.3.1. Setting the cycles
The cycle setting is factory-set to 0.5 s. This setting provides the best powder flow performance.
These settings are accessible via the timer relay, they can be increased but not reduced.
5.3.2. Setting the pressure
Setting the control pressure of the sleeve valves:
The pressure setting of the sleeve valves (
A
) is set at
the factory to 4 bar.
Too excessive pressure will cause early wear of the
sleeve valves.
Setting the blowing pressure:
The blowing pressure setting is set at the factory to 0.8 Bar.
The blowing setting (
B
) must be adjusted to carry the
powder over a distance of zero and twenty meters of
powder hose.
Too excessive pressure will cause fumes in the powder
hose inlet receptacle.
