8.3.5. Procedure C5: Replacement of the equipped porous washer
Disassembly:
•
Step 1
: Using soft rubber clamps, textile protection or thick cardboard, clamp the alumi-
nium body of the tube in a vice and unscrew the outer tube manually.
The inner tube remains attached to the body.

Step 2
:
Using a 20 to 30 mm diameter bar of sufficient length (broomstick style),
remove the black nose from the outer tube:
Tube laid flat on a work surface, passing through the inside of the tube, hit the
nose with the rod.
Repeat if necessary.
Reassemble the equipped porous washer:

Step 3
:
Put the inner tube and the aluminium body back into the outer tube.

Step 4
:
Using a mallet, insert the aluminium body into the outer tube. Leave a gap of +/-
0.5 mm between the shoulder of the body and the tube.

Step 5
: Place the nose assembly tool (P/N: 900020525) on the work surface or on the floor.
•
Step 6
: Place the new nose on the tool with the porous washer down.
