SNOW PLOW
OPERATOR’S MANUAL
maintain low plowing speed, since in the event of encountering an obstacle this will allow the operator
to quickly stop the tractor.
Lateral coping is achieved thanks to the oval, vertical openings in the mountings of the front TPH of
municipal tractors. If the front TPH is not equipped with this solution then care should be taken during
plowing, especially on uneven terrain.
The forces which are created in the plow at the moment of hitting or grazing an obstacle have been
presented in
. Depending on the type of an obstacle the stopping time may vary.

Ram plow is equipped with frame system protecting it against snow load greater than 6 tones and
sudden hitting a solid obstacle. Working principle is based on hit's energy absorption by partial or
complete tearing of 8 bolts M10 of 8.8 class, as well as and pl
astic deformation of hitch’s impact plates.
Additional protection is provided by fitting the plow with side safety bumpers protecting it against hits
from sides, e.g. hitting a curb.
